Starting with TNH 17, TNH will be spread across two days!  This makes it less of a marathon for those competing, as well as allowing us promote the final 4 rounds during peak Twitch hours!  Group stages and Final Stage rounds up to ro16 will be played on Tuesday; Wednesday's will begin each with with a showmatch followed by the top 16 of the bracket. The showmatch stream will begin at 7pm EST.

For time and simplicity sake, we are still going to go with Challonge's Tiebreaker formula.  End of story.

Deck rules

Group Stage: Starting with TNH17, Group Stages will also be BO5 Conquest just like the Final Stage. Because we are moving to a two-day event, this consistency will be beneficial. If this is your first time, Conquest is basically picking 3 classes and playing until someone has won with all 3 heroes.  When you win with a hero, that deck is eliminated. See more details below.

• All matches will be best-of-5. The first player to win 3 games within the match is considered the winner of the match and advances.
• Each player must announce three unique classes prior to each stage of the event. 
• A player must win one game with each of his three decks to win the match.
• When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used for the remainder of the match.
• The losing player can keep the same deck used or switch to a different one of their choice.
• Players will be told what classes their opponent has available, but they won’t know which class is picked until both players have picked.

**Note** In later rounds during the Group Stage, you can use your other group members to find out if one of your other members was AFK.  Communicating with your other group members is a useful tool please use it :)

Matchmaking Q/A

- If your opponent did not put his Bnet # on his Challonge username, ask for him in Chat (link posted above) and contact an admin.

- If your opponent has not accepted your request after 15 minutes, let an admin know.

Specific Rules

- IF AT ANY TIME, YOU BEGIN A GAME WITH A DECK YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO USE, YOU LOSE THAT GAME, NO EXCEPTIONS. 

- Do Not Spectate Your Next Opponent If They Happen To Be in Ranked Play Waiting For Your Match! 

- In the Case of a Tie (e.g. Hellfire), replay the match using the same heros

- If your Challonge Username does not reflect your Bnet ID, you will be given a loss for any match your opponent fails to connect with you within 15 minutes; be in Twitch chat to avoid these conflicts.
